What is HitchPay?

HitchPay is a global finance platform that gives modern businesses multi-currency accounts, instant cross-border payments, corporate cards and working capital in one place, without the friction of traditional banks.

What do I need to open an account?

Just your business details, incorporation documents and a valid ID for the account owner. Most businesses complete onboarding online and go live in under 10 minutes.

Can I apply if I'm not US-based?

Yes. HitchPay supports businesses across North America, Africa, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East, with local account details available in multiple regions.

What kinds of businesses do you accept?

We work with startups, agencies, e-commerce sellers, marketplaces, SaaS companies, contractors and remote teams. A short eligibility check during onboarding confirms fit.

Are deposits FDIC-insured?

Yes. USD balances are held at HitchPay's partner bank, Lead Bank, Member FDIC, and are eligible for pass-through FDIC insurance up to applicable limits, subject to the terms of the deposit sweep agreement.

Accounts & onboarding

How long does onboarding take?

Most businesses are approved and live in under 10 minutes. More complex structures may need additional verification, which our team resolves within one business day.

Which currencies can I hold?

You can hold and convert 30+ currencies including USD, GBP, EUR and NGN, with local account details in the US, UK and EU.

Can I manage multiple entities?

Yes. Multi-entity businesses can manage subsidiaries, each with their own accounts and cards, from a single HitchPay dashboard.

Do you generate account statements?

Yes. Monthly statements are generated automatically and can be downloaded any time, along with real-time transaction exports for your accounting.

Moving money

How do I pay vendors and bills?

Add a beneficiary, choose the currency and send, payments settle in minutes, not days. You can also upload a file for bulk payouts to thousands of recipients at once.

Can I send international wires?

Yes. Send to 130+ countries at real, interbank FX rates with transparent, upfront fees and no hidden markups.

Can I send ACH and local transfers?

Yes. HitchPay supports ACH, local rails and SWIFT wires depending on the corridor, so you can pay the way each recipient expects.

Where do I find my account details?

Your account and wire details are available in your dashboard under Accounts, including local details for each supported region.

Cards

What cards does HitchPay offer?

The HitchPay Visa® Business Debit Card, issued by a partner bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc., available as virtual and physical cards.

Can I issue cards for my team?

Yes. Create unlimited virtual and physical cards for employees, each with its own limits, categories and real-time controls.

Are there foreign transaction fees?

HitchPay cards are built for global spend with competitive FX and clear fees shown before every transaction.

Am I protected against fraud?

Yes. Cards can be frozen instantly, and we run real-time transaction monitoring against global watchlists to protect against unauthorized use.

Security & privacy

How does HitchPay keep my money safe?

Funds are held with regulated, licensed banking partners and ring-fenced from HitchPay. We use 256-bit encryption, multi-factor authentication and real-time monitoring.

Is HitchPay SOC 2 compliant?

Yes. HitchPay is SOC 2 Type II and PCI DSS compliant, and undergoes regular independent security audits.

What do you use my information for?

Only to verify your business, meet regulatory requirements and operate your account. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I report a security issue?

Email security@hitchpay.com. We investigate every report promptly and operate a responsible-disclosure process.

Team & access

Can I add multiple users?

Yes. Invite teammates and assign granular roles and permissions so everyone has exactly the access they need.

Can I add my accountant or bookkeeper?

Yes. Add your bookkeeper with view or export access, and connect tools like QuickBooks and Xero to keep your books in sync.

How do I remove a user?

Owners and admins can revoke access instantly from the Team settings in the dashboard.

Treasury & FX

Can I put idle cash to work?

Yes. HitchPay Treasury lets eligible businesses earn on idle balances. Treasury features involve risk, are not bank deposits and are not FDIC insured.

How is FX priced?

You get real, interbank exchange rates with transparent fees shown before you confirm, no hidden spreads.

Is there a minimum balance?

There's no minimum to open a HitchPay account. Specific Treasury features may have their own eligibility requirements shown at sign-up.
